About The Position

Piedmont Community Services (PCS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team. This unique role combines clinic-based psychiatric services with community-based outreach, including Mobile OBAT (Office-Based Addiction Treatment) services, ensuring accessible care for underserved populations. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care planning for adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. Services will be delivered in the outpatient clinic and through the PCS mobile unit.

Requirements

• Board Certification and current licensure as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia with prescriptive authority
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health setting
• Must be able to provide your own transportation to meetings and other sites as needed.
• Must be willing to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
