Job Summary: An exempt position responsible for providing psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to a range of patients having mental illness or substance abuse disorders under the supervision of a collaborating psychiatrist. The ideal candidate should be committed to helping the patient population (includes uninsured and underinsured) reach optimal mental health and support the plans and operations within a Patient-Centered Medical Home.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted APRN License in the State of Ohio
- Specialized training in the field of behavioral health
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicines and treatment for mental health conditions.
- Accurate understanding of psychiatric diagnoses and their medical and behavioral management.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program.
- National Board Certification as a PMHNP
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
