About The Position

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing with specialization in psychiatric/mental health
• Current Oregon DEA license
• Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in psychiatric/mental health setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Prescribe and monitor medication as needed for clients with mental health disorders
• Provide counseling and therapy to individuals and families
• Play an integral role in the coordination of care for clients with complex mental health needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
