Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and diagnostic interviews. Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications. 2+ years' experience in an emergency department setting preferred May provide support services to the PHP and IOP programs May provide services on the Behavioral Health Unit EMR: EPIC Educate patients about their mental health conditions and treatment plans. Collaborate with the psychiatrist and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care. Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner.
