The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range. Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon.
  • ANCC certification in Family Psychiatry (or approved equivalent).
  • Active DEA registration with Schedule II privileges.
  • Medicare UPIN and valid Oregon driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic formulation and treatment planning.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, monitor side effects, and ensure informed consent.
  • Order and review lab studies and other tests to maintain safe, effective care.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, case managers, and caregivers for continuity of care.
  • Document thoroughly and maintain confidentiality using electronic health records.
  • Work alongside an experienced team including board-certified psychiatrists, PMHNPs, nurses, and medical assistants.
