About The Position
Staffing Care Pro is partnering with a growing assisted living provider in the South Indianapolis / Greenwood area to identify a part-time Nurse Practitioner with mental health expertise or a strong interest in behavioral health and dementia specialty care. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP seeking flexible, part-time work in a supportive assisted living environment, focused on improving quality of life for residents through thoughtful mental health and medication management.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Indiana
- Psychiatric/Mental Health NP (PMHNP) preferred, but NPs with strong mental health or dementia experience encouraged to apply
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatrics, assisted living, memory care, or behavioral health strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric/mental health assessment and ongoing management for AL residents
- Support dementia care, behavioral health needs, and medication management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust treatment plans
- Document care in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Serve as a clinical resource to staff and families as needed
