What will you do? The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) position is part of the Nursing team within the Division of Residential Resources. The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) will work on-site w ith the Nursing Department at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center in Toledo, OH.
Requirements
- Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
- Job Skills: Nursing, Medical Charting, Medical Records, Medication Management, Basic Medical, Building Trust, Customer Focus, Managing Meetings, Responsiveness, Written Communication, Verbal Communication
- Must be willing & able to secure a Driver License OR supply your own transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assess/evaluate nursing & medical needs of individuals living at the developmental center
- Direct/implement nursing care plan
- Observe, evaluate, & record patient behavior, condition & response to medication & treatments
- Coordinate clinical & medical appointments
- Provide professional nursing care
- Assists in feeding and grooming individuals
- Respond to emergencies
- Monitor LPN medication administration, documentation, individual care, etc.
- Serve on interdisciplinary treatment team
