About The Position
The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) position is part of the Nursing team within the Division of Residential Resources. The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) will work on-site w ith the Nursing Department at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center in Toledo, OH. Some of the duties include\: Assess/evaluate nursing & medical needs of individuals living at the developmental center Direct/implement nursing care plan Observe, evaluate, & record patient behavior, condition & response to medication & treatments Coordinate clinical & medical appointments Provide professional nursing care Assists in feeding and grooming individuals Respond to emergencies Monitor LPN medication administration, documentation, individual care, etc. Serve on interdisciplinary treatment team
Requirements
- Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
- Must be willing & able to secure a Driver License OR supply your own transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assess/evaluate nursing & medical needs of individuals living at the developmental center
