Position: Diversion & Acute Stabilization (DAS) Psychiatric Counselor Pay Range: Up to $25/hour, based on education and related experience Schedule: Full Time, Evenings with rotating weekends Location: Homestead, PA Devereux/TCV Community Services is Hiring for a Full-Time Diversion & Acute Stabilization (DAS) Psychiatric Counselor! Encourage individuals to meet their recovery goals, i.e., actively participate in treatment and therapeutic activities to enhance their lives. Monitor individuals’ physical and emotional well-being, use de-escalation and emergency techniques, when necessary, Develop and teach strategies to promote wellness and independence. Collaborate with the treatment team including but not limited to psychiatrist, therapist, nurses and service coordinators. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in social/human services, or related field, required
18 years of age or older required.
Agree to a PA state criminal history, child abuse record and FBI Clearance.
Agree to a pre-employment drug screening, one-step TB and physical.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in social services with adults with behavioral health disorders, highly preferred.
Valid driver's license (Preferred)
