The Psychiatric Institute of Washington is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to join our team of Behavioral Health professionals! Position Summary: The Nurse Manager - is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. Assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance & Improvement efforts, while providing supervision of House Supervisors, RN’s and MHTs. This position will monitor staffing needs on assigned shifts. The Manager - Nursing assists the CNO in evaluating, reviewing, designing and implementing hospital training events with respect to all RN//MHT staff required training. Also provides, on as-needed basis, patient nursing assessments. Participates in Treatment Team meetings as needed. Will handle all other duties as assigned by the CNO and senior leadership.
