The PMHNP will examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients within the scope of practice. The Psychiatrist will assess and evaluate patients across the lifespan for psychiatric disorders, provide psychopharmacological treatment, and arrange appropriate follow-up. He/She will collaborate with the behavioral health care team in assessing, planning, and implementing the patient's care plan. Our outpatient behavioral health clinics operate at a fast pace, and this position requires a dedicated, focused, and energetic provider. Our behavioral health patient population is comprised of individuals presenting with a range of psychiatric disorders, many of whom have co-occurring substance abuse issues.

Requirements

  • Current Florida License as Psychiatrically Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ANCC)
  • Current Supervisory Relationship record with the state of Florida
  • Minimum of 1+ years clinical experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills
  • Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
  • Pride in the job you do and the image you present to our patients & visitors
  • A strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

  • MAT certification is a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients within the scope of practice.
