About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Psyche Social Health Tech (PSHT) to support patients within an Adult Behavioral Health Prison Ward setting. The PSHT will play a critical role in maintaining patient safety, promoting therapeutic engagement, and assisting the interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality behavioral health care. This role requires strong observational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a secure, high-acuity environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience (Required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• AHA BLS Certification (Required).
• Verification of legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to behavioral health patients.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Observe, monitor, and promptly report changes in patient behavior or condition.
• Assist nursing and clinical staff with patient care activities.
• Support therapeutic interventions and patient engagement activities.
• Follow facility safety protocols and behavioral health procedures.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
