About The Position
We are seeking a PRN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join a freestanding behavioral health hospital in Jacksonville. This role offers flexible weekend call coverage and customizable compensation options, allowing you to focus on inpatient psychiatric care while working alongside a highly supportive, fully staffed clinical team. Requirements
- Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Board Certified Psychiatric PA
- Active or eligible North Carolina license
- DEA and applicable certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

- Inpatient and/or management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult and adolescent populations
- Perform admission evaluations and daily patient follow-ups
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Participate in treatment planning and team meetings
- Document all patient care
