About The Position

Responsibilities: Perform Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Develop and review PSV sizing and selection based on process conditions and requirements. Collaborate with process engineers and plant sites to gather necessary data for PSV calculations. Support the development of process safety documentation, including relief system design basis and overpressure scenarios. Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessments related to PSV systems. Participate in the review and approval of P&ID diagrams, ensuring accurate representation of PSV systems. Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of PSV systems. Work closely with the Project Manager and safety teams to adhere to project schedules and safety protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. 5-10 years of experience in process engineering with a focus on PSV calculations and process safety. Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes related to PSV design and safety (API 520/21 ASME, etc.). Proficiency in PSV sizing software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects. Strong organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with process safety management (PSM) practices. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Requirements
