SummaryThis role is responsible for managing all aspects of the OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) program for the Idaho Plant, in accordance with legal and Simplot corporate requirements.  This role will be responsible for preparation and support of implementing OSHA PSM and EPA RMP programs, yearly certification of program components, as well as 3-year regulatory audit compliance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years related experience and/or training
  • Knowledgeable of process safety management as defined by 29 CFR Part 1910.119 OSHA PSM and 40 CFR Part 68 EPA RMP.
  • Ability to modify and generate drawings (AutoCad).
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ammonia Refrigeration Training - GCAP, experience plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Mechanical Integrity element of the PSM program including: written procedures, training of personnel, inspections and testing and supporting documentation (including SOPs).
  • Responsible for effective management and abatement facilitation of the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) program for 5-year updates.  Be the facilitator for PHA's to verify all aspects are addressed.
  • Responsible for the Management of Change (MOC) program for PSM and Non-PSM processes which verifies changes are evaluated properly and all action items are completed before the change occurs.
  • Ensures that all documentation is tracked, updated and maintained in accordance with the Plant's Document Control Process.
  • Collaborate  with Environmental, Health and Safety and Risk Management departments in implementing shared initiatives.
  • Responsible liaison for activities with outside agencies, including reporting (such as timely Tier One (1) compliance-audit (Self Audits), certified procedure verifications, and written reports of results/deficiencies) and plant-level support during agency inspections.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and sustaining PSM specific policies, procedures, and programs to maintain compliance with environmental and safety laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement technical and PSM related training as required; to include hazard recognition, inspections and how to address gaps.
