About The Position

This position is responsible for Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) compliance at Formosa’s Baton Rouge manufacturing facility. This individual leads technical PSM/RMP compliance and oversees the site PSM/RMP programs and ensures regulatory conformance, continuous improvement and risk reduction at the Baton Rouge site. The position will have additional responsibilities supporting the site Safety/Health Director on additional initiatives such as MOC oversight, KMS (Visium) and ISO compliance, B-1/B4, 3rd party audits, contractor management, and site PSM/RMP programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Curriculum.
• 10+ years of experience in a PSM/RMP role.
• Strong background in hazard analysis studies (PHA / LOPA).
• Experience in incident investigations and Management of Change.
• Familiarity with OSHA’s Process Safety Management.
• Operations experience is a plus.

• Process Safety Professional certification.
