About The Position

The PSG Tech I position is an acquisition technologist that performs sleep studies on all age groups and appropriately scores records per AASM guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, preferably in a science field.
• Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of health care experience in a direct care position.
• Experience as a PSG technologist.
• Excellent skills in sleep study scoring, data acquisition, troubleshooting, bedside manners, mask fittings, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep studies on all age groups.
• Score records per AASM guidelines.
• Acquire data during sleep studies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and study issues.
• Provide bedside manners and patient education.
• Fit masks for patients.
