About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Technician performs patient-oriented procedures under the direction of a physician.
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and physicians
- ability to accept responsibility and maintain confidentiality
- ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- bend, stoop, lift, twist, assist patients in arising from examination table or wheelchair, push wheelchairs and assist with patient’s ambulation
- ability to take vital signs and report to nurse or doctor any abnormalities
