A Product Service Engineer within the Systems Organization is a cross-functional role that bridges the gap between product development and customer needs by providing technical support, troubleshooting, and improving product performance after release to the field. In this role member will be responsible for significant assignments with long-term business implications. This includes activities related to enhancing services technology, integrating customer data, or capturing engines/products reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and other performance. This role involves offering after-sales support, analyzing customer feedback, and collaborating with various teams to enhance product reliability and user experience. The PSE role is the voice of the customer within GE internal organizations, and will act as the technical point of contact for GE Marine Program Managers, Marine Field Services, engine manufacturing, production test cell, and GE marine overhaul shops. The PSE also translates the internal GE message to an external communication that is clear and transparent, keeping the customer at the forefront and ensuring they have the most relevant information to keep their fleet safe and operational.
