About The Position
The Director of Employment and Workforce Development provides leadership and strategic direction for all correctional workforce initiatives within the Department of Corrections (DOC). The Director is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive employment pipeline for incarcerated individuals, from intake through post-release, with a focus on career readiness, skill development, and sustainable employment outcomes. This position directly supports the DOC's mission to reduce recidivism through successful reentry and economic empowerment.
