About The Position

As a Sales Account Representative - Core Safety, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by effectively managing assigned territory and increasing sales of both existing and target accounts. You will understand sales goals and establish self-directed sales coverage with manager's assistance, develop tactics, and coordinate efforts to fulfill quarterly and annual objectives. You will also apply business unit marketing policies, procedures, and plans, utilize the selling process to achieve sales results, and demonstrate and train customers on product applications. Additionally, you will proactively report all new or unusual pertinent market conditions, competitive activities, and product performance information to your supervisor. The role requires planning and managing time and resources for effective coverage of territory, adhering to budget guidelines, and maintaining account and prospect information in company CRM resources. Leadership is a key aspect of this position, as you will exhibit leadership with accounts, prospects, and peers, and may occasionally be involved with training and mentoring other sales representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution OR eight (8) years of safety or industrial sales experience.
  • Current, valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Ten (10) years of safety or industrial sales experience.
  • Selling through Industrial Distribution (B2B) experience.
  • Experience working with and creating specifications for end-user manufacturing companies.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage assigned territory and increase sales of both existing and target accounts.

  • Provide appropriate sales support services to customers and distributors.
  • Proactively report market conditions, competitive activities, and product performance information.
  • Plan and manage time and resources for effective coverage of territory.
  • Adhere to budget guidelines and maintain account and prospect information in CRM.
  • Exhibit leadership with accounts, prospects, and peers.
  • Build collaboration among team members to address customer/industry issues.
  • Continuously learn and improve skills relative to the market, products, and applications.
