Main Duties & Responsibilities Primary Job Role Derives a plan for each project. Executes and monitors the plan. Sets up the project within the software application, coordinates ship buildup/fabrication work for all required projects and issues appropriate paperwork for the projects. Monitors and controls the costs as established by the sales team. Includes maximizing profit through purchasing and value engineering activities. Monitors and controls the scope of the project and identifies items that are out of scope. Escalates to the salesperson as potential change orders. Includes assisting the sales personnel through technical evaluations, reviews of specifications and drawings, and oversees their completion. Monitors and controls the schedule of the project and vendor supplied equipment timelines. Includes scheduling and monitoring project startup with the service departments of all vendors. Identifies potential risks to the project and the company, and ensures there is a plan to mitigate the risks as they arise. Identifies all project stakeholders, their impact on the project and the best method of communication with each stakeholder. Conveys information in a professional manner. Provides technical communication with all manufacturers and their representatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
