LabCorp is seeking a PSC Training Coordinator to join its team in Tulsa, OK. This role is responsible for organizing, developing, and executing training and onboarding for new employees, ensuring a positive experience and enhancing work performance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, passionate about training and continuous improvement, and able to collaborate effectively with leadership teams.

  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees and initial training to ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Provide ongoing group and individualized training for work performance enhancement and general education.
  • Deliver training on company and department policies, procedures, and competencies related to Phlebotomy.
  • Develop and implement resources and programs to achieve training objectives.
  • Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans.
  • Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department employees.
  • Support leadership with goals related to quality and service metrics.
  • Assist in creating improvement plans for underperforming employees.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conducted.
  • Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with workflow during high volume periods or when coverage is needed.
  • May travel to client sites and other branches to assist in training.
  • Research industry-related information when necessary.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
