About The Position

Hiring Salary Range: $53,450.27 to $58,795.29 depending on qualifications. The position organizes, schedules, coordinates and monitors a PSAV program to ensure effective operations and activities in compliance with state and federal standards and guidelines. In addition, it provides instruction for certain programs, prepares required reports, and maintains records.

Requirements

• The position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of prior-related work experience.
• The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.
• Technical certification and/or licensure also may be required for some programs.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, schedules, coordinates and monitors the post-secondary adult vocational program to ensure effective operations and activities in compliance with state and federal standards and guidelines.
• Organizes, schedules and coordinates facilities, equipment, materials and activities ensure adequate supplies and equipment available. Ensures proper maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Monitors, verifies, administers and records standardized examinations in accordance with standards and guidelines.
• Monitors all phases of ongoing programs and prepares and submits reports to ensure adherence to all standards and guidelines.
• Interviews, screens and makes recommendations to hire certified instructors. May also provide instructional support for program(s).
• Evaluates instructors, courses and curriculum to ensure effective program provided for students.
• Solicits input from outside agencies regarding courses needed for program certification or to enhance program offerings.
• Acts as liaison to local outside agencies.
