About The Position

The PRT Monitor Women’s provides supervision and guidance to residents of the treatment program during the evening/night hours. Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to identify and work with the American Indian community at large and relate to their needs under our program activities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer literacy skills
  • Must be able to identify and work with the American Indian community at large and relate to their needs under our program activities
  • Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must have a caring attitude and understanding of the problems of substance addiction and domestic violence, required
  • Must be able to deal with potentially hostile and/or uncooperative individuals, required
  • Must be able to handle stress and remain calm in crisis situations, required
  • Must be flexible in shift availability, required
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information regarding residents, required
  • Must be CPR certified within the first 90 days, required
  • Must be HIPAA and Privacy Act trained within the first 30 days, required
  • Must have MAT training within the first 12 months, required
  • Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
  • Requires a high level of problem solving skills
  • Requires a moderate level of technical writing skills
  • Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
  • Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a substance abuse facility, domestic violence shelter or behavioral health program preferred
