About The Position

The Provost at Colorado School of Mines serves as the senior leader responsible for shaping the faculty, students, and academic programs to ensure the university excels in its mission of education, innovation, and inspiration. The Provost will lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing student success, increasing enrollment, and fostering a diverse academic community while navigating the challenges of a competitive higher education landscape.

Requirements

• An earned doctorate in a science or engineering field relevant to Mines.
• Significant accomplishments in education, innovation, or research.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
• Experience managing complex budgets and financial projections.
• Experience interacting with senior industry and government leaders.
