About The Position

The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Success at Hunter College is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing academic excellence, faculty development, and student success initiatives. This position involves strategic planning for academic programs, managing graduate student enrollment, and fostering collaboration with various academic and community partners. Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of cultivating publicly engaged scholarship.
  • Experience coordinating with Student Affairs on enrollment and retention initiatives.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes and online program development.
  • Experience in implementing collaborative initiatives with community partners.
  • Successful administrative and teaching experience at the collegiate level.
  • Experience with funded research and understanding of new teaching and research technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and staff to foster academic change.
  • Commitment to graduate and professional education and liberal arts education.
