The Provisioning Agent role at Southwest Airlines involves extending hospitality to both internal and external customers within the provisioning warehouse, on the aircraft, and on the ramp. This position is responsible for preparing the cabin for a flight's departure by stocking the aircraft with snacks and drinks, collaborating with crew members to ensure high-quality inflight service, and working with ground operations teams to complete tasks by set times. Provisioning Agents are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a dynamic, safe environment. This is a part-time opportunity, with shifts determined by a seniority-based bidding process. New hires will complete 4-6 weeks of training, consisting of 8-hour classroom or on-the-job training over 5 days each week. After training, work weeks will consist of 6.5-hour shifts over 5 days, with the potential for mandatory overtime. The role includes working assigned shifts based on seniority, which can include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
