About The Position
The Provisional Wild Animal Keeper at Prospect Park Zoo is responsible for the safe, proper, and humane management of the animal collection, exhibits, and associated facilities. This role involves performing animal care, preparing diets, maintaining exhibits, and assisting in the development of management protocols. The keeper will also observe animal behavior, report findings, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the animal environments while engaging with the public about the zoo's offerings.
