About The Position

IHCS provides an Integrated Delivery System in the home setting, which includes DME, Respiratory, Home Health and Home Infusion services. IHCS has a select network of Medicare and/or Medicaid Certified and Accredited providers to respond to the needs of our patients – 24/7. We operate with the sole intent of providing the highest quality in-home care services that improve and enhance the daily living for our patients, where our patients are #1. With over 15 years of experience, IHCS is the trusted market leader in Home Health, Durable Medical Equipment, and Home Infusion Services. The Provider Relations Specialist contributes to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, provider training and project coordination throughout the process and full cycle scope of services in coordination and billing. The incumbent will be responsible for providing Provider Relations administrative support and coordination of associated documentation for all DME & Home Health downstream providers of our portfolio of business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree plus two (2) years of work experience with a plan payer, in health care, or a related field with Provider Network Development and/or Provider Relations
  • Two (2) years of experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of managed care concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements
  • Ability to handle conflict and diffuse confrontational situations
  • Demonstrate accountability and dependability
  • Effective interpersonal skills characterized by articulateness, diplomacy, and the ability to persuade and motivate others
