About The Position

The Provider Relations Representative serves as the primary point of contact for Community Behavioral Health's (CBH) provider network, focusing on education, support, and resolution of provider inquiries. This role is essential in fostering collaborative relationships with providers to ensure their success within the CBH network through excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in behavioral health, healthcare administration, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the mental health field, with knowledge of managed care and Medicaid/Medicare programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of individuals.
  • Excellent customer service and networking skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned providers and practitioners within the CBH network.
  • Maintain a repository of information for each assigned provider and practitioner.
  • Oversee and manage an assigned caseload of in-network providers and practitioners.
  • Provide support and resources to providers, assisting in resolving concerns related to the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS).
  • Ensure all components of DBHIDS can retrieve necessary information regarding providers and practitioners.
  • Conduct regular site visits for assigned CBH providers, unless attending pre-scheduled meetings at the provider site.
  • Obtain quarterly updates on provider capacity and more frequent updates upon request.
  • Provide coverage for the Provider Hotline during normal business hours as assigned.
  • Participate in various meetings on behalf of providers, including compliance and executive-level meetings, and ensure follow-up on agenda items and minutes.
