About The Position

United Health Services (UHS) is expanding its commitment to building a strong early-career clinical pipeline by strengthening how they partner with academic institutions and support Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Resident, and Medical Student learners throughout their clinical experiences. The Provider Recruitment Coordinator will centrally manage affiliation agreements and oversee the full learner processing workflow in the applicant tracking system (ATS), creating an environment where learners feel supported, valued, and guided as they start their careers in healthcare. This role is essential for ensuring a consistent, compliant, and high-quality learner experience, while also enhancing UHS's ability to convert learners into future employees. The coordinator will serve as the front-line liaison for academic partners, internal clinical leaders, and students completing rotations across the system.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Five years administrative support experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in applied science in administration or related field
  • One to three years (1-3) experience in an administrative support position

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner of all NP, PA, Resident, and Medical Student affiliation agreements.
  • Facilitate timely renewal, routing, and documentation of new and existing agreements.
  • Maintain a reliable and compliant agreement management cycle aligned with system policies.
  • Process all academic learners—including NP, PA, Residents, and Medical Students—through the ATS using standardized Talent Acquisition (TA) workflows.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, pre-boarding steps, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide learners with clear communication, next steps, and ongoing support.
  • Deliver a consistent, welcoming, and high-quality experience for all learners navigating the onboarding process.
  • Coordinate scheduling, documentation collection, internal communication, and onboarding timelines.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for academic partners, clinic leaders, and internal departments.
  • Collaborate directly with Talent Acquisition, Medical Affairs, Provider Recruiters, Clinics, Education, and Compliance teams to maintain aligned workflows.
  • Support TA’s 2026 priorities: Candidate experience, standardization, compliance, and early-career pipeline development.
  • Help strengthen UHS’s relationships with academic institutions by ensuring predictable, transparent processes.
