About The Position
The Provider Network Consultant position is a contract role based in Chicago, Illinois, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. This position is crucial for analyzing, researching, and applying business rules to fulfill requests from providers regarding modifications to their information, which is essential for claims processing, membership assignments, and directory purposes. The consultant will be responsible for contracting, credentialing, and maintaining data for Facility and Professional providers to support marketing and network contracting across various lines of business. In addition to these responsibilities, the role involves supporting the implementation of special projects, tracking different phases of projects, and managing workflow effectively. The consultant will also assist management in training team members on the various business rules related to network contracting and credentialing. A significant part of the job includes identifying gaps in existing processes and proposing strategies for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
