About The Position

The Provider Liaison builds and maintains strong relationships with community providers through consistent, strategic outreach. The role proactively supports providers by anticipating needs, removing barriers, and enhancing satisfaction with Arkansas Children’s services. Serving as a positive representative of the organization, the Liaison promotes care pathways, clinical expertise, and service line capabilities to improve patient access and support high-quality care. All activities are conducted in alignment with federal and state regulations and in partnership with Compliance and Legal, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Drivers License (AR) - Arkansas Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Entry Level - Experience not Required.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively establish and sustain contact with key community providers using a variety of communication methods identified through data-driven targeting.
  • Conduct scheduled in-person visits to assess provider needs and tailor information, resources, and solutions to support effective patient care.
  • Strengthen relationships by identifying access barriers, responding to needs, and ensuring timely and complete follow-through on all requests.
  • Coordinate introductions to new specialists and clinical services to build provider awareness and improve patient referral pathways.
  • Facilitate connections to clinical services, entry points, and specialists for new providers entering the service area.
  • Support provider participation in accredited or approved educational offerings that enhance patient care, in accordance with organizational guidelines on continuing education and professional interactions.
  • Document all provider interactions, identified needs, outstanding requests, and follow-up actions in a tracking database that monitors activity, progress, trends, and outcomes.
  • Develop quarterly provider engagement plans informed by data on patient needs, access barriers, and community health trends.
  • Integrate relevant market intelligence to identify new opportunities and ensure strategies align with organizational capacity and readiness.
  • Continuously refine engagement tactics to provide accurate information, improve coordination, and support high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with leadership and the strategic marketing/communications team to develop targeted, educational, and policy-compliant messaging and tools.
  • Prepare reports summarizing field activities and highlighting trends, opportunities, and challenges that influence provider satisfaction and experience.
  • Elevate community and service needs identified in the field and coordinate follow-up actions with internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate themes and trends from provider feedback related to access, service, communication, and operational barriers impacting patient care and organizational goals.
  • Partner with leadership and clinical/operational teams to maintain effective processes for addressing, tracking, and reporting provider issues and needs.
  • Serve as a resource to leaders by providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and provider feedback to inform operational and clinical planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.
