About the position
The Provider Contract Director-CA is responsible for leading key contract administration functions and initiatives across Elevance Health. This role serves as a subject matter expert in contract language and administration, driving the development and implementation of enterprise contract management strategies and processes. The director will work closely with contract negotiators, manage special projects, and represent the department in enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Leads the development and implementation of enterprise contract management/administration strategies, processes, and systems across the company.
- Drives the adoption and use of standardized contracts, contract language, and contract platforms.
- Works with contract negotiators to identify best practice solutions to contract needs and educates them on contract language impacts.
- Leads contract reviews to ensure that contract terms and language can be implemented efficiently.
- Researches and quantifies impact to contract modifications.
- Manages special projects and initiatives.
- Represents the department and serves as a key contributor on enterprise initiatives, projects, and task forces.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of business and professional experience in contracting, provider relations, and provider servicing.
