Provider Configuration Enrollment Representative - Health Plan
About The Position
The Provider Configuration Enrollment Representative is responsible for obtaining provider profile information. This includes verifying provider demographic information, billing, credentialing, and other information from providers in a timely manner. Entering provider enrollment and disenrollment data and maintaining the provider database. Receive information from provider office and make appropriate changes if necessary to information such as profiles, changes to demographics etc. Ensure credentials and employees and update information when necessary.
Requirements
- Possess skills in use of basic office equipment, computers, printers and email
- Experience in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Previous experience in health care field organization
- Prior insurance billing or credentialing experience
