Requirements

• Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Design, Design Studies, Architecture, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Requires two years of experience in the following:
• Programming in one of the following languages: C#, JavaScript, or HLSL/GLSL
• AR/VR or game development
• Driving product strategy and vision
• Real-time 3D development environments
• Visualizing in 3D and understanding aesthetic and usability aspects of design
• Shipping software products
• Working with researchers
• Qualitative and quantitative methods for user research
• Building prototypes in short timeframes (Unity or Unreal Engine)

Responsibilities

• Design, research, prototype, and implement interaction ideas for input technologies and devices.
• Work with a full-stack software and hardware team to realize interactions into experiences.
• Develop and iterate rapid models of proposed design solutions for the purposes of communication and evaluation.
• Design flows and visuals and solve issues with cross-functional leads.
• Think beyond incremental features and help design paradigm shifts for input in spatial computing.
• Experience with real-time 3D development such as Unity/C# or Unreal.
• Employ UI/Interaction development experience for 3D products.
• Experience leading design by defining vision and strategy, working with product partners, and collaborating with design and engineering peers.
• Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. allowed.
