Identify most efficient bridging donor for TPV and mule build forms. Compare different program top hats to find the best match to production intent underbodies that minimize the amount of bridging. Assist with the development of statement of work to engineering design houses to perform the bridging analysis. For small projects create bridging parts and create routing strategies and direction for TPVs and mule builds. Design prototype assembly and test fixtures using Catia v.5 and 3DX. Create detail drawings of assemblies and fixtures, using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Store all CAD data in Teamcenter (TCe) or 3DX We are looking for a highly motivated person willing to learn prototype fabrication and testing activities and willing to learn bridging part fabrication. Candidates require knowledge in the use of CAD in the application of drafting principles (descriptive geometry, lettering, dimensioning, layout, detail, etc.) and require a general working knowledge of shop processes associated with fabrication and fixture design. Desired: Must possess the ability to work with Catia v.5 data. Must be proficient with Microsoft office tools: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. Design prototype bridging parts and design create test fixtures using Catia or equivalent CAD software. Create detail drawings of parts, assemblies and fixtures, using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to store all CAD data in Teamcenter (TCe) or 3DX.
