About The Position

The Tooling: Prototype and CNC Mill/EDM Specialist is responsible to support the Toolroom and Manufacturing by creating fixtures, prototypes or samples of potential new products for customers.

Requirements

• AS degree in Engineering Technology desired or equivalent work experience.
• One year minimum of manufacturing experience.
• Sheet metal experience desired.
• ERP System experience desired.
• Green Belt desired.
• 3D CAD experience (Solidworks desired).

Responsibilities

• Assists with new product development for samples, prototypes and tooling.
• Works with weld fixtures, pin gauges, one-hit dimple dies, and other welding support.
• Operates machines as needed.
• Design tooling and fixtures utilizing CAD-CAM/Solidworks software.
• Operate CNC and EDM machines to support the Tool Room and Manufacturing needs.
• Support other tooling projects as needed.
