Overview : BS Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, prototype build, or vehicle launch environments. This position is focused on leading and coordinating prototype vehicle builds during critical development phases. The role serves as the central hub between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and testing teams to ensure prototypes are built accurately, safely, on time, and according to specifications. This is a highly hands-on, shop floor–driven role requiring strong cross-functional leadership, real-time problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple build activities in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator plays a key role in driving build readiness, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless execution from planning through vehicle handoff to testing. Experience in OEM or Tier 1 prototype builds, BOM management, and manufacturing documentation is essential. Experience in EV, startup, or low-volume/high-mix environments is a strong plus.
