About The Position

3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking a Prototype Assistant to join our Lapeer location. This position supports CNC Operators and Programmers by helping prepare, handle, and process parts during the early stages of prototype production.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 – years' work experience preferred
• Excellent organizational & time management skills
• Self-Motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
• Works well in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling parts for CNC, Stamping, and Laser departments.
• Load and unload parts from machines.
• Activate machine operations to perform part cutting.
• Deburr and perform basic inspections of finished parts.
• Stack and organize parts on pallets for the next stage of production.
• Communicate job progress and part status with the next shift leader.
• Accurately log job times and daily activities.
• Maintain awareness of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Follow all required PPE and company safety policies.
