About The Position

Position Summary:
The Protocol Specialist is responsible for many functions in RCM.

Requirements

• High School diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 12 months experience in Medical Billing, Medical Collections or Medical Billing Systems.
• Experience with traditional insurance plans, HMO/PPO’s, Medicare, Medicaid, and Worker’s Comp.
• Ability to use 10key by touch
• Able to type 45 wpm
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
• Medical billing knowledge
• Read EOB's (Explanations of Benefits)
• Analytical skills
• Organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Promoting products, services and content over webchat features, in a way that is consistent with an organization's brand and online strategy
• Scheduling online posts using multiple platforms.
• Developing new digital engagement strategies and campaigns
• Collaborating with coworkers to ensure branding is consistent.
• Help develop strategies for current and existing products, launches, promotions, and corporate cultural events.
• Manage communications for events
