We are currently seeking a Protocol Analyst to join our team, which is responsible for delivering high-end analytics and data science services in the realm of cybersecurity. This role is critical to the success of our mission, supporting a diverse team of experts in various fields, including Data Science, Cryptologic Computer Science, and Cyber Planning. The Protocol Analyst will focus on signals analysis, particularly in communications signals, network troubleshooting, and network security analysis.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, or a related technical field.
• Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• High School diploma or GED with 15 years of experience, including completion of military training courses 451 or 452, or participation in the Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP).
• Strong understanding of telecom-based network analysis, especially at the network layer.
• Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with DVT, WVT, and PKTSWING tools.
• Experience in network traffic characterization and network security analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct signals analysis related to communications signals, including bitstream and waveform analysis.
• Perform protocol analysis and network troubleshooting.
• Characterize network traffic and conduct network security analysis.
• Analyze massive sets of hexdump data to identify repeatable communication patterns hidden in signals.
