The Chefs' Warehouse, Inc. is seeking a Protein Sales Manager to oversee the development and performance of all sales activities within the assigned district. This role is pivotal in leading a sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth in alignment with the company's vision and values. The Protein Sales Manager will be responsible for establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the territory, while also contributing to the development of training and educational programs for both clients and Sales Associates. In this position, the manager will develop a comprehensive business plan and sales strategy that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability. This includes preparing action plans for individual Sales Associates as well as the team to effectively search for sales leads and prospects. The manager will initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets and assist in the implementation of marketing plans as needed. Regular one-on-one reviews with Sales Associates will be conducted to enhance communication, understand training and development needs, and provide insights for improving sales performance. The Protein Sales Manager will also provide timely feedback to senior management regarding team performance and ensure competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications while striving to maintain maximum profit margins. Additionally, the manager will assist Sales Associates in preparing proposals and presentations, control expenses to meet budget guidelines, and ensure adherence to all company policies and business ethics codes. Recruitment and hiring of Sales Associates will also fall under the manager's responsibilities, based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
