About The Position

Agropur is actively seeking an Isolate Reactor Operator (aka Protein Operator) at our Le Sueur, Minnesota location. The Isolate Reactor Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, sanitation and maintenance of isolate reactor and related equipment in the BiPro department. Complete CIP of equipment; troubleshooting machinery as needed. Accurately identify information by categorizing, estimating and recognizing changes or deviations in circumstances and/or events. Perform operator-level maintenance as needed. Learn and execute advanced startup and shutdown procedures of equipment. Effectively operate state-of-the-art equipment involved with the isolation of protein products. Regulate production factors such as solids, temperature, pH; making adjustments to meet all set points. Take frequent readings; accurately logging up to 50 variables per hour.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in food manufacturing or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues (English).
  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
