About The Position

Early career and experienced human services professionals are encouraged to consider an available full-time Protective Services Case Worker position with Liberty Healthcare and the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program. The mission of this program is to detect, prevent, reduce and eliminate abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment of adults who are living with disabilities.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice or another human services field is preferred but not required.
• Relevant experience in Service Coordinator, Supports Coordinator, Program Specialist or Case Manager roles.
• Experience in Child, Family and Youth Services or Older Adult Protective Services.
• Experience in behavioral/mental health or developmental disabilities services.
• Experience in law enforcement.
• Experience in field-based healthcare or human services roles.
• Must have own vehicle for local and regional travel.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in human services or related fields.
• Recent graduates or those anticipating graduation this spring are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of others.
• Travel throughout the region and conduct investigations in residences.
• Interview individuals to determine if reports of need are substantiated.
• Document findings, develop service plans, and manage cases through to closure.

• Starting pay is approximately $50,000 (paid $24.05 per hour).
