About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, procedures, use of equipment, and hospital policies necessary for job performance.
  • Patrols HCGH campus via foot, mobile unit, or bicycle to protect against theft, fire, vandalism, and hazardous conditions.
  • Properly prepares for and attends roll calls.
  • Maintains technical expertise on all aspects of the equipment and procedures for the job.
  • Provides professional security and customer-oriented service for all employees and visitors.
  • Responds to all critical incidents occurring on campus, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • Remains vigilant to prevent criminal activity by observing or patrolling according to post orders.
  • Monitors alarms and CCTV systems, responding when necessary.
  • Prepares reports efficiently and conducts preliminary investigations when necessary.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
