This intern will work to develop breaker failure relay replacement packages and set calculations for Massena substation in preparation for an emergent relay replacement or planned capital project in the future. This will allow for better response time for relay replacement packages should the existing obsolete relays fail, to better NYS electrical system reliability and dependability. This work aligns with students pursuing degree in electrical engineering. Knowledge of power systems engineering preferred. Our paid 10-week Summer Developmental Internship program runs from June 2 - August 7, 2026.
