This position consists of, but is not limited to, assembling intricate prosthetic and/or orthotic components to a specific work instruction. Responsibilities: Perform various assembly functions of new and current products Must perform pick process utilizing the Kardex system Kitting of products Must have ability to follow written procedures Must be able to use hand held tools ( screwdrivers, torque wrenches) and standard industrial equipment Must be able to manage time and meet deadlines Should be comfortable in industrial environments Must be able to work at least forty hours per week, including 5 days per week and overtime as required Complete service reports as required Must be capable of learning all assembly stations as requested Provide feedback to supervisor when a process goes out of control Provide suggestions on improvements All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality requirements of Össur. Training takes place in the Onboarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific Quality training is job specific. All training related to the quality management system is done in accordance to the Training Management Process (PR-00042). Exercises good use of company funds and property within the set guidelines. Maintains an honest and professional attitude as the company’s representative at all times. Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards. All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Össur’s Environmental, Health & Safety requirements. Training takes place in the On-boarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific training is job specific.
