About The Position
Conducts prospect research to provide prospect identification, screening, rating, and reporting. Collects data and provides analyzes on giving capability, philanthropic interests, and engagement potential of individuals, corporations, and foundations. Supports Cleveland State University, (CSU) wide efforts by informing cultivation and solicitation strategies that drive major gift support and grow the CSU endowment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in library and information science, nonprofit management, business administration, finance, accounting, public administration, or related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in prospect research, fundraising, development, or advancement services.
- Leadership experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in non-profit research in higher education.
- Capital campaign experience.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of the fund-raising process.
